The Community Healthcare Network (CHN) Community League Health Center has been serving the Washington Heights area of Upper Manhattan since 1968.
The Community League Health Center provides adult medicine, adolescent medicine, HIV services- including primary care, case management, counseling and testing and support services-, pediatric care services, reproductive health care, prenatal and postpartum care, immunizations, school check ups and social services. The clinic is also expanding its family planning services throughout Washington Heights, with its new program for free family planning outreach and services sponsored by the New York City Department of Health and the New York City Council.
The Community League Health Center is an integral part of the Washington Heights Community. The center participates in an annual Health Fair Block Party on West 159th Street in Washington Heights, providing education information and health services such as blood pressure screenings. The Health Center also provides workshops and family planning to Edwin Gould Services for Children, Alianza Dominicana, and Rena COA Multi-Services.
In a reflection of the client population, staff at the Community League Health Center speak Spanish and all materials distributed at the Center are translated into both English and Spanish.

#1 train to West 157th Street, walk one block to Amsterdam Avenue and two blocks North
on Amsterdam Avenue to West 159th Street. Or "A" train to West 145th Street, transfer to local train
to West 163rd Street, walk to Amsterdam Avenue two blocks to West 159th Street.
By bus: #M100 or #M101 bus up Amsterdam Avenue to 159th Street or #M4 or #M5 buses (up Broadway)
to 159th Street and walk one block East; or #M3 bus to 159th Street, walk one block West.
