The Community Healthcare Network (CHN) Betty Shabazz Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center supported under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act. The CHN Betty Shabazz Health Center's mission is 100% access to primary health services with 0% disparities in the community of East New York, Brooklyn.

The Dr. Betty Shabazz Health Center was founded as the United Parents Center in 1957. In late 1997, the Health Center was renovated and dedicated to the late community activist, Dr. Betty Shabazz.

The center provides adult medicine, adolescent medicine, HIV services- including primary care, case management, counseling and testing and support services-, pediatric care services, reproductive health care, prenatal and postpartum care, mental health services, immunizations, school check ups and social services. Like the other CHN centers and mobile units around the City, Dr. Betty Shabazz Health Center is increasingly becoming a one-stop, primary care facility for adults and children.

The Dr. Betty Shabazz Health Center is an integral part of the East New York Community. In a reflection of the client population, staff at the clinic speak Spanish, and all materials are translated into both English and Spanish.
