Dr. Sharon Griffith, MD is the Director of Women’s Health and a board-certified OB/GYN. She treats patients at our South Bronx Health Center.
Dr. Griffith completed her undergraduate degree at Brooklyn College and her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center.
Her special interests include:
- Promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health Justice
- Decreasing racial disparities in maternal health outcomes
- Incorporating preconception health screenings into primary care

Dr. Griffith can help you with:
- Yearly gynecologic exams for cis-women and trans-men
- Pap smears (test for cervical cancer)
- Mammograms (tests for breast cancer)
- Evaluation of gynecologic conditions- menstrual problems, fibroids, infertility
- Management of menopausal symptoms
- Colposcopy (a closer look at the cervix after an abnormal pap smear)
